RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO REZONE FROM "R-3"
MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R -1,R -P"
PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT APPROXIMATELY 1.12
ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE WILLISTON
FIELD SITE AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
WILLISTON AVENUE AND WEST 7TH STREET, AS
MARCH 28, 2011, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of March, 2011, for
the purpose of acting upon an application of the City of Waterloo
to rezone from "R-3" Multiple Residence District to "R -1,R -P"
Planned Residence District approximately 1.12 acres generally
located at the Williston Field site at the northeast corner of
Williston Avenue and West 7th Street, and legally described as
follows:
Lot No. 3 in Auditor Francis' Dry Run Plat in the City
of Waterloo, excepting the South 30 feet thereof
heretofore conveyed to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for
street purposes, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
