RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF CURTIS KLATT
FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE
NO. 3094.
WHEREAS, Curtis Klatt is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. in
conjunction with a wedding reception to be held at the Waterloo
Boathouse, including a DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Curtis Klatt made formal application for a
variance effective August 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
in conjunction with a wedding reception to be held at the Waterloo
Boathouse, including a DJ and the use of a PA system, together
with recommendation of approval by the Director of Safety
Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Curtis Klatt for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 20, 2011 from 4:00
p.m. until 11:00 p.m. in conjunction with a wedding reception to
be held at the Waterloo Boathouse, including a DJ and the use of a
PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of March, 2011.
