RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTICE
ASSISTANCE AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application dated March 28, 2011, for FY2012 Byrne -
Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program funding jointly with Black
Hawk County and the City of Cedar Falls, Iowa, with approximately
75 percent Federal funding and 25 percent match from
participating agencies, to be used for funding the Tri -County
Drug Enforcement Task Force, by and between the Department of
Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of March, 2011.
