RESOLUTION NO. 2025-132
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1651 SYCAMORE STREET, IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 1 .00 TO
CRYSTAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICES, INC., AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo owns certain real property located at 1651 Sycamore
Street, which is not essential for municipal purposes and has been identified for sale and
economic development opportunities; and
WHEREAS, Crystal Distribution Services, Inc., has proposed purchasing the property for
the purpose of expanding its business operations and creating economic benefits within the
community; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the sale of the property for $ 1 .00 is in the public
interest and will promote economic development in the area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1 . The sale and conveyance of the city-owned property at 1651 Sycamore Street to
Crystal Distribution Services, Inc., in the amount of $ 1 .00 is hereby authorized.
2. The conveyance shall be subject to the terms and conditions deemed appropriate by the
City, including any necessary utility easements, restrictions, or development agreements.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all necessary
documents to finalize and convey the property as stipulated.
4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of March 2025.
