RESOLUTION NO. 2025-137
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH AECOM
TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $438,900.00 (PREVIOUSLY APPROVED
FOR $425,900.00), IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
REHABILITATE RUNWAY 18/36 DESIGN, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo previously entered into a Professional Services
Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. for engineering services related to the
Rehabilitate Runway 18/36 Design, in the amount of $425,900.00; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that additional services are necessary, requiring an
amendment to the original agreement, increasing the contract amount by $13,000.00, thus
revising the total agreement amount to $438,900.00; and
WHEREAS, AECOM Technical Services, Inc. possesses the necessary expertise and
resources to perform these additional services; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Waterloo to approve the amendment to
ensure the successful completion of the Runway project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with AECOM Technical
Services, Inc., in the increased amount of $438,900.00, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
