RESOLUTION NO. 2025-139
A RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDENDUM NO. 3 TO THE
EN COMMUNICATIONS CONTRACT WITH EN
ENGINEERING, LLC OF WARRENVILLE, ILLINOIS, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $459,592.00 PLUS $4,000.00 PER MONTH FOR
INSPECTORS' TRAVEL EXPENSES, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE EN COMMUNICATIONS CONTRACT - CITY OF
WATERLOO IOWA - PROJECT MANAGEMENT,
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, CONSTRUCTION
INSPECTION AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES
2025, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo previously entered into an EN Communications
Contract with EN Engineering, LLC for project management, construction management,
construction inspection, and engineering support services; and
WHEREAS, an additional need for services has been identified, requiring Addendum No.
3 to the existing contract, increasing the contract amount by $459,592.00, along with $4,000.00
per month for inspectors' travel expenses; and
WHEREAS, EN Engineering, LLC has demonstrated the expertise and capacity to
provide the necessary additional services to support the 2025 project endeavors; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Waterloo to approve this addendum to
ensure continued high -quality project and construction management services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. Addendum No. 3 to the EN Communications Contract with EN Engineering, LLC, in
the amount of $459,592.00 plus $4,000.00 per month for travel expenses, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
