RESOLUTION NO. 2025-123
A RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MARCH 17, 2025, TO RECEIVE PUBLIC COMMENTS ON
THE CAPER (CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE
REPORT), AND DIRECT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo participates in federal programs that require the
submission of a Consolidated Annual Performance Report (CAPER) to evaluate the progress and
performance of community development initiatives; and
WHEREAS, public input is an essential component of the CAPER process, ensuring
transparency and community engagement in assessing the outcomes of federally funded
programs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council must set a date for a public hearing to receive comments
from residents and stakeholders regarding the CAPER;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That a public hearing shall be held on March 17, 2025, at the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers, City Hall, 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa, to receive public comments on the
Consolidated Annual Performance Report (CAPER).
2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in
accordance with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
