RESOLUTION NO. 2025-169
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH FOTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND
ENVIRONMENT, LLC, IN THE AMOUNT OF $260,378.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026 KATOSKI DRIVE AND
HUNTINGTON ROAD RECONSTRUCTION, CONTRACT NO.
1123, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has identified the need for professional services to
support the reconstruction of Katoski Drive and Huntington Road, as part of the FY 2026
infrastructure improvement plan, designated as Contract No. 1123; and
WHEREAS, Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC, has proposed a scope of services
with a fee not to exceed $260,378.00, providing necessary technical expertise and consultancy
for the successful implementation of the project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and conditions of the proposed
agreement and has determined that engaging Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC, will
facilitate meeting the project objectives within budgetary and operational constraints;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement between the City of Waterloo and Foth
Infrastructure and Environment, LLC, in the amount of $260,378.00, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
