RESOLUTION NO. 2025-170
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT NO. 8 WITH STANLEY CONSULTANTS, INC.,
OF DES MOINES, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $153,225.00,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2022 11TH STREET AND
PARK AVENUE BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1013, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has undertaken the l lth Street and Park Avenue
Bridge Replacements Project, as outlined in the FY 2022 capital improvement projects plan,
under Contract No. 1013; and
WHEREAS, Stanley Consultants, Inc. has been providing consulting services for this
project, and there is now a need for additional scope defined under Supplemental Agreement No.
8 to ensure continued support and successful completion of the project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Supplemental Agreement No. 8 reflects a fee of $153,225.00,
covering the extended services required to address certain project complexities and provide
technical expertise as needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. Supplemental Agreement No. 8 with Stanley Consultants, Inc., in the amount of
$153,225.00, is hereby approved, securing the additional consultancy services necessary for the
successful advancement of the I lth Street and Park Avenue Bridge Replacements Project.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
