RESOLUTION NO. 2025-175
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH INVISION
ARCHITECTURE, LLC OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $442,700.00 (PREVIOUSLY APPROVED FOR
$420,000.00) TO PERFORM A STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF
100 E. 4TH STREET AS PART OF THE RENOVATION AND
RELOCATION OF CITY HALL, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has engaged Invision Architecture, LLC, to provide
professional services for the renovation and relocation of City Hall, located at 100 E. 4th Street;
and
WHEREAS, the original agreement established a cost of $420,000.00 for these services,
which now requires amendment to increase the agreement value to $442,700.00 to incorporate
additional structural analysis necessary for the project's successful execution; and
WHEREAS, this amendment ensures comprehensive evaluation and preparation to
support the city's objectives for modernizing municipal facilities and maintaining safety and
efficiency standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Invision Architecture,
LLC, increasing the contract amount to $442,700.00 for additional structural analysis of 100 E.
4th Street, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
