RESOLUTION NO. 2025-176
A APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH KIRK GROSS
COMPANY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$47,000.00 FOR FURNITURE DESIGN, INVENTORY, AND
BID DOCUMENTS FOR THE RENOVATION AND
RELOCATION OF WATERLOO CITY HALL TO 100 E. 4TH
STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo recognizes the need for updating and relocating the
City Hall facilities to enhance administrative functions and citizen accessibility; and
WHEREAS, the City has identified 100 E. 4th Street as the optimal location for the new
City Hall premises; and
WHEREAS, Kirk Gross Company, located in Waterloo, Iowa, offers comprehensive
services including furniture design, inventory, and the preparation of bid documents necessary
for the renovation and relocation project; and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a professional services agreement with Kirk Gross
Company, in the amount of Forty -Seven Thousand Dollars ($47,000.00), which is deemed
reasonable and in the City's best interest for ensuring the project's success;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That the City Council hereby formally approves the agreement with Kirk Gross
Company for furniture design, inventory, and preparation of bid documents in the amount of
$47,000.00, for purposes related to the renovation and relocation of City Hall.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
