RESOLUTION NO. 2025-152
A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BOULDER CONTRACTING
LLC, OF GRUNDY CENTER, IOWA, AND RELEASE OF
FINAL RETAINAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,351.95, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE WATERLOO CONVENTION
CENTER PARKING RAMP REPAIRS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Convention Center Parking Ramp Repairs Project has been
undertaken to ensure necessary maintenance and safety improvements; and
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting LLC, of Grundy Center, Iowa, has satisfactorily completed the
work in accordance with the contract specifications and project requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed the completed work and recommends acceptance of
the project as successfully finished; and
WHEREAS, the release of the final retainage in the amount of $9,351.95 is deemed appropriate
upon the authorization of the acceptance of work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves the completion of the Waterloo Convention Center
Parking Ramp Repairs Project as performed by Boulder Contracting LLC.
2. The work is accepted as complete, and the final retainage in the amount of $9,351.95 is
authorized for release.
3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
