RESOLUTION NO. 2025-163
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2025 E./W. SAN MARNAN DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1116.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has completed the development of plans,
specifications, and a form of contract for the E./W. San Marnan Drive Reconstruction Project as
part of the FY 2025 capital improvements, designated as Contract No. 1116; and
WHEREAS, these documents have been prepared in accordance with applicable
engineering standards and city requirements to ensure the project's success in enhancing
transportation infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, formal approval of the project documentation and authorization to
commence proceedings is required to facilitate project execution and completion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The plans, specifications, and form of contract for the FY 2025 E./W. San Marnan
Drive Reconstruction Project, Contract No. 1116, are hereby approved.
2. The Engineering Department is authorized to take all necessary steps to proceed with
implementing this contract, including but not limited to the execution of contracts, and
commencement of work as per the approved plans and specifications.
3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
