RESOLUTION NO. 2011-381
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
HOUSING ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM AGREEMENT
WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT,
AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AMENDMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Amendment No. 1 to the Housing Enterprise Zone Program
Agreement dated May 9, 2011, to amend the existing Enterprise
Zone Agreement 06-HEZ-064 for the rehabilitation of 11 units to 7
units generally located at 501 Sycamore Street in the Waterloo
EZ -4 Enterprise Zone, by and between the Iowa Department of
Economic Development, Midtown Development LLC and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of May, 2011.

AND CONSENT TO ENCROACHMENTS WITH THE RUSSELL
LAMSON LC AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AGREEMENT AND CONSENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL
that the Encroachment Agreement
dated May 9, 2011, to allow
encroachments including light
loading docks, window mounted
encroach onto public right-of-way
described as follows:
OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
and Consent to Encroachments
for a number of existing
fixtures, entrance canopies,
air conditioners, etc. that
at 209 West 5th Street, legally
Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block 9, Original Plat on the West
Side of the Cedar River, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
by and between The Russell Lamson LC and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City
Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
