RESOLUTION NO. 2011-453
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION TO BLACK HAWK COUNTY GAMING
ASSOCIATION FOR GRANT FUNDING AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application for grant funding in the amount of
$21,000.00, to fund the purchase of a dual-purpose explosive
detection K-9 for the Police Department, by and between the Black
Hawk County Gaming Association and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 2011.
