RESOLUTION NO. 2011-454
RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, OFFICE OF COMMUNITY
ORIENTED POLICING SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application dated May 23, 2011, for COPS Secure Our
Schools Program grant, with 50 percent match to be provided by
the Waterloo School District, to establish and enhance a variety
of school safety equipment and/or programs to encourage the
continuation and enhancement of school safety efforts, by and
between the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community
Oriented Policing Services, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd da of May, 2011.
