RESOLUTION NO. 2011-455
RESOLUTION APPROVING HEALTHY HOMES AND LEAD
HAZARD PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION AND
AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF SAME TO U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Program Grant application,
in the amount of $1,592,198.00, with match of $817,145.00, for
personnel costs, blood testing, education, training, remediation
and equipment to be used toward the elimination of lead paint
hazards, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to submit same to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 2011.
