RESOLUTION NO. 2025-199
A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MODERN BUILDERS OF
JANESVILLE, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,855.00.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH HANGAR NO. 3 WALL REPAIRS
PROJECT, FY-23 IDOT CSVI CONTRACT NO. 4606.
WHEREAS, Modern Builders of Janesville, Iowa, has completed the work associated
with the Hangar No. 3 Wall Repairs Project as outlined in FY-23 IDOT CSVI Contract No.
4606; and
WHEREAS, the total amount billed for the completed work is $35,855.00; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate for the City of Waterloo to approve the completion
and formally accept the quality and condition of the work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The completion of the Hangar No. 3 Wall Repairs Project by Modern Builders is
hereby approved.
2. The work performed is accepted as meeting the specifications and requirements as set
forth in FY-23 IDOT CSVI Contract No. 4606.
3. Payment in the amount of $35,855.00 is authorized to be released to Modern Builders
for the completed work.
4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its approval and adoption by
the City Council.
