RESOLUTION NO. 2025-229
A RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MAY 5, 2025, TO APPROVE A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
REQUEST BY OLSSON ENGINEERS, ON BEHALF OF
VERIDIAN CREDIT UNION, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A NEW 2,899 SQUARE FOOT BANKING FACILITY IN THE
"C-P' PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT LOCATED AT
2300 LOGAN AVENUE, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, Olsson Engineers, on behalf of Veridian Credit Union, has submitted a Site
Plan Amendment request for the construction of a new 2,899 square foot banking facility; and
WHEREAS, the proposed facility is located in the "C-P" Planned Commercial District at
2300 Logan Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to set the date of a public hearing to consider the requested
site plan amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That a public hearing on the Site Plan Amendment request by Olsson Engineers on
behalf of Veridian Credit Union is hereby set for May 5, 2025, to be held in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in
accordance with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
