RESOLUTION NO. 2025-230
A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY LJ'S WELDING &
FABRICATION, INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $36,027.70, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE UNI-
CUE HANDRAIL PROJECT.
WHEREAS, LJ's Welding & Fabrication, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, has completed work on
the Uni-Cue Handrail Project; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of the work performed is $36,027.70; and
WHEREAS, the work has been inspected and found to be in compliance with the project
specifications and approved for acceptance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That the project identified as the Uni-Cue Handrail Project, performed by LJ's Welding
& Fabrication, Inc., is hereby completed.
2. That the work performed is accepted and approved for payment in the amount of
$36,027.70.
3. That the City Council does hereby authorize the final payment upon the completion of
any remaining contractual obligations and the receipt of all necessary documentation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April 2025.
