RESOLUTION NO. 2025-242
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A THREE-YEAR
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE WATERLOO REGIONAL
AIRPORT AND GATEKEEPER SYSTEMS, INC., OF EAGAN,
MINNESOTA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,600.00 PLUS $2,000.00
IMPLEMENTATION FEE IN YEAR ONE; $5,650.00 IN YEAR
TWO; $5,700.00 IN YEAR THREE, FOR SPECIALIZED
SOFTWARE USED TO TRACK REQUIRED TERMINAL AND
AIRFIELD INSPECTIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Regional Airport requires specialized software to track
essential Terminal and Airfield inspections to maintain compliance with regulatory standards;
and
WHEREAS, GateKeeper Systems, Inc., based in Eagan, Minnesota, has been identified
as a provider capable of supplying the requisite software services; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement spans three years, including:
Year One: $5,600.00 plus a $2,000.00 implementation fee,
Year Two: $5,650.00,
Year Three: $5,700.00; and
WHEREAS, the financial obligations outlined have been reviewed and confirmed to align
with the airport's operational budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That Supplemental Agreement No. 7 with AECOM, in the amount of $150,000.00, is
hereby approved, subject to the terms and conditions agreed upon.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of
Waterloo.
