RESOLUTION NO. 2025-207
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO
PERFECTION PLUS OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $6,500.00 PER MONTH FOR THE REGULAR
SERVICE; BID ALTERNATE 1, WINDOW WASHING, AT
$750.00 PER OCCURRENCE AND BID ALTERNATE 2,
CARPET AND TILE CLEANING, AT $1,000.00 PER
OCCURRENCE, APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS,
AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT JANITORIAL
SERVICES CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo sought bids for janitorial services at the Waterloo
Regional Airport, and Perfection Plus of Hopkins, Minnesota, submitted the most competitive
bid; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the bid include regular janitorial services at $6,500.00 per
month, with provisions for additional services: window washing at $750.00 per occurrence and
carpet and tile cleaning at $1,000.00 per occurrence; and
WHEREAS, it is essential to formalize the contract with the necessary bonds and
insurance to commence services effectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The bid submitted by Perfection Plus of Hopkins, Minnesota, is hereby approved,
including regular service and bid alternates for window washing and carpet/tile cleaning.
The associated contract documents, bonds, and certificate of insurance are approved as
meeting the City's requirements.
3. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
