RESOLUTION NO. 2025-208
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2026 LEVEE RIP RAP SPRAYING, CONTRACT NO. 1120.
WHEREAS, the FY 2026 Levee Rip Rap Spraying project has been developed with
plans, specifications, and a contract form prepared for the maintenance and vegetation
management of levee systems under Contract No. 1120; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to confirm approval of these documents and to
authorize project commencement to ensure levee system stability and efficacy through
vegetation control;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The plans, specifications, and the form of contract for the FY 2026 Levee Rip Rap
Spraying, Contract No. 1120, are hereby confirmed and approved.
2. Authorization is granted to proceed with the execution of services as stipulated in the
approved contract documents, in alignment with project goals for levee system maintenance.
3. The city staff is directed to oversee the execution of this project in accordance with the
approved specifications and contractual obligations.
