RESOLUTION NO. 2025-209
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO
LANDMARK TURF SERVICES, INC., OF DUNKERTON,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $54,208.00, APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BOND AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026 LEVEE RIP RAP
SPRAYING, CONTRACT NO. 1120, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has sought competitive bids for the FY 2026 Levee
Rip Rap Spraying, Contract No. 1120, to maintain and manage vegetation on levee structures;
and
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, Inc. of Dunkerton, Iowa, submitted a bid in the
amount of $54,208.00, reviewed and found to be compliant with bidding specifications and
requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City's interest is to approve and execute the contract, bond, and
necessary insurance to commence with the project effectively;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The bid submitted by Landmark Turf Services, Inc., in the amount of $54,208.00, is
hereby approved.
2. The associated contract documents, performance bond, and certificate of insurance are
approved as meeting the City's requirements for this project.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
