RESOLUTION NO. 2025-210
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SAILOR NATION DONATION
AGREEMENT FOR GALLOWAY PARK AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has been offered a donation from Sailor Nation for the
improvement and enhancement of Galloway Park; and
WHEREAS, the donation agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the
donation will be provided and utilized to benefit the community; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City to accept this donation and formalize the
agreement to proceed with the intended park enhancements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Sailor Nation Donation Agreement for Galloway Park is hereby approved.
2. The execution of this donation agreement aligns with the City's goals of enhancing
community parks and recreational spaces.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
