RESOLUTION NO. 2025-213
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH STRAND ASSOCIATES OF MADISON,
WISCONSIN, IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,000.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT AND COLLECTION
SYSTEMS OPERATIONS PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo requires specialized engineering services to support the
Wastewater Treatment Plant and Collection Systems Operations Project; and
WHEREAS, Strand Associates of Madison, Wisconsin, has proposed to provide
necessary engineering services for an amount not to exceed $40,000.00; and
WHEREAS, engaging Strand Associates will facilitate critical improvements and
maintenance to enhance the operational efficiency and compliance of the City's wastewater
infrastructure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with Strand Associates of Madison, Wisconsin,
providing engineering services in the amount of $40,000.00, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
