A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED
NORTH OF 2119 WEST 8TH STREET TO ARCH HOMES, LLC
IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00 TO ARCH HOMES, LLC,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is the owner of certain real property located north of
2119 West 8th Street, legally described as Parcel"A"as set forth in Plat of Survey filed March
20, 2025 as Doc. No. 2025-3720 and more particularly described as:
THAT PART OF LOTS 1 AND 2, IN BLOCK 3, "LIBERTY ADDITION" IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA, IS DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 2, POINT BEING A
FOUND 1"O.D. STEEL PINCHED PIPE, BEING THE POINT OF BEGINNING;

PARCEL LETTER APPROVED BY COUNTY AUDITOR'S OFFICE AND
WHEREAS, Arch Homes, LLC has expressed interest in acquiring said property for
development purposes in the amount of$5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the proposed sale and conveyance serves the public interest by returning the
property to the tax roll and promoting further development within the city; and
WHEREAS, proper notice of the sale has been given in accordance with applicable law,
and all interested parties have been given the opportunity to be heard with respect to the
proposed sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby authorizes the sale and conveyance of the property located
north of 2119 West 8th Street to Arch Homes, LLC for the sum of$5,000.00.

behalf of the City of Waterloo.
