RESOLUTION NO. 2025-240
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MASTER SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH OPENGOV FOR BUILDING PERMIT
AND INSPECTIONS SOFTWARE, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$112,340.17 FOR SUBSCRIPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo recognizes the need to enhance efficiency and service
delivery in building permits and inspections by utilizing advanced software solutions; and
WHEREAS, OpenGov has been identified as a suitable provider through comprehensive
evaluation processes, offering capabilities that support the City's operational needs; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Master Services Agreement with OpenGov includes a total
cost of $112,340.17, covering both subscription and implementation services necessary for the
deployment of the software; and
WHEREAS, this software implementation aligns with the City's strategic goals for
digital transformation and operational efficiency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves the Master Services Agreement with OpenGov for
building permit and inspections software.
2. The amount of $112,340.17 is approved for the subscription and implementation of the
software as per the agreement terms.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo.
