RESOLUTION NO. 2025-241
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT NO. 7 WITH AECOM OF WATERLOO, IOWA
IN THE AMOUNT OF $150,000.00, ORIGINALLY EXECUTED
ON APRIL 8, 2015, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PLANNING
AND ENGINEERING SERVICES TO ASSIST THE WASTE
MANAGEMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into an agreement with AECOM on April 8,
2015, to provide planning and engineering services to assist the Waste Management Services
Department; and
WHEREAS, continued collaboration with AECOM is necessary to further advance the
City's waste management strategies, infrastructure planning, and service improvements; and
WHEREAS, Supplemental Agreement No. 7 outlines additional scope of work and
associated fees amounting to $150,000.00 to support these ongoing efforts; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and finds that this supplemental agreement
serves the public interest by enhancing the operational efficiency and environmental
responsibility of the City's waste management operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves Supplemental Agreement No. 7 with AECOM,
detailing enhanced planning and engineering services for the Waste Management Services
Department.
2. An amount of $150,000.00 is authorized for this supplemental scope under the terms
defined within the agreement.
3. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of
Waterloo.
