RESOLUTION NO. 2012-792
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF JOHN DEERE TO
HOLD A JOHN DEERE FALL FEST 2012 EVENT ON
SEPTEMBER 6-8, 2012.
WHEREAS, John Deere has requested that they be allowed to
hold a John Deere Fall Fest 2012 event on September 6-8, 2012,
and
WHEREAS, said event will include a tractor parade on
September 7, 2012, with route starting at the Expo grounds
located on the corner of Jefferson Street and Park Avenue,
proceeding north on Park Avenue, east on Mulberry Street, south
on 4th Street, then west on Washington Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of John Deere to hold a John
Deere Fall Fest 2012 event on September 6-8, 2012 to include a
tractor parade on September 7, 2012, with route starting at the
Expo grounds located on the corner of Jefferson Street and Park
Avenue, proceeding north on Park Avenue, east on Mulberry Street,
south on 4th Street, then west on Washington Street, be and the
same is hereby approved.
