The Finance Committee of the City Council is hereby requested to authorize the following
purchase or expenditure submitted by the Sewer(Pump W 6th) Department to expend
$ 160,457.14 plus est. shipping costs of $ 2,500.00 to pay for or purchase
Cascade Pump for W 6th St Lift Station - FY2026
This purchase or expenditure is being made because:
W 6th St is a triplex station that currently only has one usable pump and another in need of repairs.
Will come out of FY2026 budget.
Vendor selected for this purchase: Electric Pump
Bids or written quotes were taken on this purchase, as follows:

Electric Pump's Cascade is sole source due to having to replace in kind to avoid major
reconstruction of station.
