RESOLUTION NO. 2025-270
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO NB KOCH
CONSTRUCTION, OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $141,000.00, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BOND AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PARK AVENUE BRIDGE
MARKER, CONTRACT NO. 1121, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has solicited bids for the Park Avenue Bridge Marker
project under Contract No. 1121; and
WHEREAS, NB Koch Construction of Cedar Falls, Iowa, submitted the lowest
responsible bid in the amount of $141,000.00, meeting all requirements as set forth in the
project's specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and approved the contract, performance
bond, and certificate of insurance associated with this bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The bid submitted by NB Koch Construction, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, in the amount of
$141,000.00, is hereby accepted and approved.
2. The contract, bonds, and certificate of insurance for the project are hereby approved
and accepted as to form and content.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
