RESOLUTION NO. 2025-280
RESOLUTION APPROVING A RENEWAL AGREEMENT
WITH NATIONAL INSURANCE SERVICES FOR FEES
ASSOCIATED WITH LIFE AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY
POLICIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo provides life and long-term disability insurance
policies for its employees to ensure their financial protection and well-being; and
WHEREAS, the city has received a proposal from National Insurance Services to renew
these insurance policies, including associated fees, under favorable terms; and
WHEREAS, after careful review and consideration, the proposed Renewal Agreement is
found to be in the best interest of the city and its employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The renewal agreement with National Insurance Services for life and long-term
disability policies, along with the associated fees, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May 2025.
