RESOLUTION NO. 2025-281
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH EMPLOYEE AND FAMILY RESOURCES
OF DES MOINES, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,720.00,
TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo recognizes the importance of providing comprehensive
support services to its employees through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP); and
WHEREAS, Employee and Family Resources of Des Moines, Iowa, has offered to
continue providing these services under a Professional Services Contract; and
WHEREAS, the proposed contract includes an agreement to provide these necessary EAP
services for all city employees in the amount of $12,720.00, which has been reviewed and found
to meet the city's needs effectively and efficiently;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Professional Services Contract with Employee and Family Resources, providing
for continued Employee Assistance Program services in the amount of $12,720.00, is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
