RESOLUTION NO. 2025-282
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH STRAND ASSOCIATES OF MADISON,
WISCONSIN, IN THE AMOUNT OF $600,000.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE DESIGN SERVICES ANAEROBIC
LAGOON MODIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo is undertaking necessary modifications and
improvements to its anaerobic lagoon systems to enhance wastewater treatment efficiency and
environmental compliance; and
WHEREAS, Strand Associates of Madison, Wisconsin, has proposed to provide
specialized design services for these modifications, having the requisite expertise and experience
in such projects; and
WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement outlines the scope of services to be
provided by Strand Associates at a total cost of $600,000.00, which has been evaluated and
deemed acceptable by city officials;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Professional Services Agreement with Strand Associates, for design services
related to Anaerobic Lagoon Modifications in the amount of $600,000.00, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
