RESOLUTION NO. 2025-283
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A
DEVELOPMENT AND MINIMUM ASSESSMENT
AGREEMENT WITH HYDRITE CHEMICAL CO., LOCATED
AT 2815 WCF&N DRIVE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo previously entered into a Development and Minimum
Assessment Agreement with Hydrite Chemical Co. to foster economic development and
expansion at its facility located at 2815 WCF&N Drive; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the existing agreement is necessary to reflect changes in
project scope, timeline, or other relevant terms to better serve the parties' interests and fulfill the
intended economic development objectives; and
WHEREAS, the proposed amendment has been reviewed and found acceptable by city
officials and is in alignment with the City's economic development policies and goals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1 . The proposed amendment to the Development and Minimum Assessment Agreement
with Hydrite Chemical Co. is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May 2025.
