RESOLUTION NO. 2025-284
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH
AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC., OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, WITH NO CHANGE TO THE TOTAL AGREEMENT
AMOUNT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE AIRLINE
TERMINAL PARKING CANOPY STRUCTURES
CONSTRUCTION RELATED SERVICES AGREEMENT
DATED DECEMBER 18, 2023, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo entered into an agreement with AECOM Technical
Services, Inc. on December 18, 2023, for construction -related services concerning the Airline
Terminal Parking Canopy Structures project; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the agreement has been proposed to incorporate
modifications to the scope or schedule of services without altering the total agreement amount,
ensuring better alignment with project needs and objectives; and
WHEREAS, this amendment has been thoroughly reviewed to ensure compliance with
the project's goals and the city's contractual standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. Amendment No. 1 to the Construction Related Services Agreement with AECOM
Technical Services, Inc., dated December 18, 2023, regarding the Airline Terminal Parking
Canopy Structures, is hereby approved with no change to the total agreement amount.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
