RESOLUTION NO. 2025-291
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A
DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH STEVEN AND
YVONNE SMITH, AMENDING SECTION 8 TO INCLUDE A
GRANT OF $12,000.00 FOR THE REPLACEMENT AND
INSTALLATION OF A NEW FENCE ON THE PROPERTY AT
2324 MAYNARD AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo has an existing Development Agreement with Steven
and Yvonne Smith to support enhancements on the property located at 2324 Maynard Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, an amendment to Section 8 of the agreement is proposed to provide a grant
of $12,000.00 for the replacement and installation of a new fence, contributing to the property's
improvement and value enhancement; and
WHEREAS, this amendment aligns with the city's objectives to foster neighborhood
improvements and property enhancements, supporting community development goals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
