RESOLUTION NO. 2025-256
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 29, 2025, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JUNE 2, 2025, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE WATERLOO CONVENTION CENTER
FURNITURE PROJECT, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has received preliminary
plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of costs for the Waterloo Convention Center
Furniture Project; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The preliminary specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the Waterloo
Convention Center Furniture Project are hereby approved.
2. The date of bid opening is set for May 29, 2025, and a public hearing shall be held on
June 2, 2025, at 5:30 P.M., in the Harold E. Getty Council Chambers, for the purpose of
considering the Waterloo Convention Center Furniture Project.
3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in
accordance with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May 2025.
