RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
MAY 19, 2025, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY MIZU RAMEN
IOWA, LLC FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO ALLOW
FOR CHANGES IN USE IN THE "C-1, C-Z" CONDITIONAL
ZONING DISTRICT LOCATED AT 1021 PEOPLES SQUARE,
AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.NTS.
WHEREAS, Mizu Ramen Iowa, LLC has submitted a request for a Site Plan Amendment
to allow for changes in use within the "C-1, C-Z" Conditional Zoning District, affecting the
property located at 1021 Peoples Square, Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to set a date for a public hearing to consider such requests in
accordance with city procedures and regulations; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing will provide an opportunity for individuals to present
their views regarding the proposed Site Plan Amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That a public hearing be set for May 19, 2025, to be held in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m., for the purpose of considering a request by Mizu Ramen Iowa,
LLC for a Site Plan Amendment for the property located at 1021 Peoples Square.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said public hearing in
accordance with applicable laws and city policies, ensuring adequate notice to the public.
