RESOLUTION NO. 2025-261
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING THE PROJECT TO
PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PASSENGER
BOARDING BRIDGE PROJECT, NO. FAA AIP 3-19-0094-057-
2025.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking the Passenger Boarding Bridge Project,
No. FAA AIP 3-19-0094-057-2025, which includes the preparation and approval of
specifications, bid documents, form of contract, and related requirements; and
WHEREAS, these documents and contracts are essential to ensure that the project is
completed in accordance with applicable regulations and standards; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council to confirm the approval of these
documents and authorize the subsequent steps to advance the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the specifications, bid documents, the form of contract, and all ancillary
components related to the Passenger Boarding Bridge Project, No. FAA AIP 3-19-0094-057-
2025, are hereby approved.
2. That the City Council authorizes the project to proceed, in accordance with the
approved documents, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
requirements and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
3. That the necessary parties, including contractors and city officials, are instructed to
take all appropriate actions to advance the implementation of this project.
