RESOLUTION NO. 2025-262
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING THE PROJECT TO
PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2025 SOUTH
HILLS GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE BUILDING
CONTRACT NO. 1130.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has recognized the need for constructing a maintenance
building at South Hills Golf Course and has prepared specifications, bid documents, and forms of
contract for said project, known as Contract No. 1130; and
WHEREAS, these documents are necessary for facilitating the construction process in
essence with best practices and ensuring compliance with municipal codes and procedural
guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the City Council must confirm the approval of these documents to authorize
the commencement of the project in compliance with all applicable standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the specifications, bid documents, form of contract, and all supplementary
materials related to the FY 2025 South Hills Golf Course Maintenance Building, Contract No.
1130, are hereby approved.
2. That the City Council authorizes the project to proceed, in accordance with the
approved documents.
3. That the necessary parties, including contractors and city officials, are instructed to
take all appropriate actions to advance the implementation of this project.
