RESOLUTION NO. 2025-265
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZING THE PROCEEDING WITH
THE STREET DEPARTMENT ASPHALT EMULSIONS SEAL
COAT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has identified the need to implement the Asphalt
Emulsions Seal Coat Program to maintain and enhance the quality of streets within the city; and
WHEREAS, specifications, bid documents, and form of contract have been prepared for
said program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has reviewed these
documents and finds them to be in proper form and compliance with applicable regulations and
standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The specifications, bid documents, and form of contract for the Street Department
Asphalt Emulsions Seal Coat Program are hereby approved and confirmed.
2. The Street Department is hereby authorized to proceed with the bidding process and
subsequent contract execution in accordance with the City of Waterloo regulations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May 2025.
