RESOLUTION NO. 2025-289 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH BALTIMORE FIELDS, LLC, FOR A NEW RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION LOCATED BETWEEN HAWTHORNE AVENUE AND EUREKA STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT. WHEREAS the City of Waterloo and Baltimore Fields, LLC, have an existing Development Agreement to support the creation of a residential subdivision situated between Hawthorne Avenue and Eureka Street; and WHEREAS, an amendment to the Development Agreement is necessary to incorporate changes in project specifications, timelines, or other critical elements to better serve the development objectives and community needs; and WHEREAS, the proposed amendment has been reviewed by the city's planning and development officials and aligns with the city's comprehensive urban development strategies and objectives; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, 1. The proposed amendment to the Development Agreement with Baltimore Fields, LLC, is hereby approved, reflecting updated terms essential for the advancement of the residential subdivision development. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
