RESOLUTION APPROVING HIRING ROSS HORBACH TO
THE POSITION OF PRODUCT AND SERVICES MANAGER
AT A SALARY OF $80,000 PER YEAR PLUS BENEFITS,
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 31, 2024, CONDITIONED ON
PASSING A BACKGROUND CHECK AND EXECUTING AN
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT, AND RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-011.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS UTILITY BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ross Horbach is hired to the position of Product and Services Manager,
effective on October 31, 2024, and an Employment Agreements with Ross Horbach, for the
positions of Product and Services Manager, including the salary and terms of employment
contained therein, is hereby approved and the Board Chair and Board Secretary are authorized
and directed to execute said document on behalf of the utility.
Section 2. That Resolution No. 2024-12 is hereby rescinded. It is further noted that the
agenda and minutes erroneously referred to the resolution to be rescinded as Resolution 2024-
011, however 2024-012 is the correct resolution to rescind and shall be marked on said resolution
as such.
