RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO HM
CRAGG, OF EDINA, MINNESOTA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$308,879.69, APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS, AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY2025 PREFABRICATED SHELTER AT 1700 IDAHO
STREET, CONTRACT NO. 1112.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Telecommunications Utility issued a request for proposals for
the FY2025 Prefabricated Shelter at 1700 Idaho Street, Contract No. 1112; and
WHEREAS, HM CRAAG, of Edina, Minnesota, submitted a responsive and responsible
bid in the amount of $308,879.69 that meets the technical and financial requirements of the
project; and
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Telecommunications Utility Board of Trustees has determined
that awarding the contract to HM CRAGG is in the best interest of promoting efficient service
delivery and advancing the utility’s telecommunications infrastructure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WATERLOO
TELECOMMUNICATIONS UTILITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Waterloo Telecommunications Utility Board of Trustees hereby awards Contract
FY2025 Prefabricated Shelter at 1700 Idaho Street, Contract No. 1112, to HM CRAAG
in the amount of $308,879.69.
2. The General Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute all necessary
documents related to the contract in accordance with the utility’s procurement policies
and procedures.
