RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
FOR THE FY2024 BILLING SYSTEM, OPERATIONAL
SUPPORT SYSTEM, AND FLOW-THROUGH
PROVISIONING, CONTRACT NO. 1097.
WHEREAS, the Utility has identified the need for a comprehensive upgrade with the
FY2024 Billing System, Operational Support System, and Flow-Through Provisioning Project to
better serve the residents and stakeholders of Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, Contract No. 1097 outlines the scope, objectives, and requirements for the
implementation of the new systems, ensuring they conform with the utility’s operational
guidelines and strategic goals; and
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Telecommunications Utility Board of Trustees has reviewed
the request for proposal documents and finds them satisfactory to proceed with solicitation of
bids from qualified vendors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS
UTILITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the Waterloo Telecommunications Utility Board of Trustees hereby approves and
authorizes the issuance of a Request for Proposal for the FY2024 Billing System,
Operational Support System, and Flow-Through Provisioning, as outlined in Contract No.
1097.
