RESOLUTION NO. 2025-302
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC.,
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$260,100.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2025
BIENNIAL BRIDGE REVIEW PROGRAM, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo requires professional services for the FY 2025 Biennial
Bridge Review Program to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the city's bridge
infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, has submitted a
proposal to provide such services in an amount not to exceed $260,100.00; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to engage AECOM Technical Services,
Inc., to carry out the necessary evaluations and reviews under the Biennial Bridge Review
Program, enhancing infrastructure safety and compliance with relevant standards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Professional Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., in
an amount not to exceed $260,100.00, is hereby approved for the FY 2025 Biennial Bridge
Review Program.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
