RESOLUTION NO. 2012-835
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF
COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION
AND SITE CLEARANCE SERVICES (NO REGULATED
ASBESTOS -CONTAINING MATERIALS) FOR PROPERTIES
LOCATED AT 312 CHARLES STREET, 116 WEST
PARKER STREET, AND 135-137 WASHINGTON STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Community Planning & Development
Director of said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications,
form of contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with
Demolition and Site Clearance Services (no regulated asbestos -
containing materials) for properties located at 312 Charles
Street, 116 West Parker Street, and 135-137 Washington Street, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning & Development Director did
file said preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract,
estimate of cost, etc. in conjunction with Demolition and Site
Clearance Services (no regulated asbestos -containing materials)
for properties located at 312 Charles Street, 116 West Parker
Street, and 135-137 Washington Street, which were preliminarily
approved by Resolution No. 2012-825 on August 13, 2012, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on August 20,
2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost, etc. in conjunction with Demolition
and Site Clearance Services (no regulated asbestos -containing
materials) for properties located at 312 Charles Street, 116 West
Parker Street, and 135-137 Washington Street, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of August, 2012.
