Addendum No. 3
WHEREAS,City of Waterloo and Robinson Engineering Company entered into a contract dated April 5,
2021 for the design of the North Crossing Regional Planning and Design project in Waterloo, Iowa.
WHEREAS, City of Waterloo and Robinson Engineering Company desire to amend the previous
agreement to make the following revisions to the contract.
NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed to amend the original Consultant Agreement as follows:
1. Scope of Services
The scope of services is amended to add the following scope items to the project:
Right-of-Wav Exhibits: This task will include the production of required right-of-way exhibits
to transfer ownership of land along US Highway 63 from Iowa DOT ownership to City of
Waterloo ownership. Additionally,a portion of this property will need to transfer from City of
Waterloo ownership to the McDonalds franchise. This cost will include the cost for preparing
plats and legal descriptions for these transfers. This work will be completed by HRS Surveying.
Additional time for Robinson Engineering will cover the costs of coordinating this work and
obtaining Iowa DOT approval for these plats.
ADA Sidewalk Modifications: This task includes the work completed to modify the sidewalk
layouts along US Highway 63 due to unforeseen utility conflicts. This work included redesigning
the ADA ramps and associated sidewalk and producing plans for construction.
11. Compensation
Right-of-Way Exhibits:
HRS,LLC $4,000.00
Robinson Engineering $3,000.00
ADA Sidewalk Modifications:
Robinson Engineering $3,000.00
Total Additional Compensation= $10,000.00
The compensation for this supplemental agreement is to be integrated with that covered under the
original contract.
III. In all other respects,the obligations of City of Waterloo and Robinson Engineering
Company shall remain as specified in the Original Contract dated April 5,2021, and all
addendums.
